A further examination of the iconography of Boxing and the representation of two of it's key figures.

From the exhibition statement:
"In many ways the dichotomy between the twin icons of Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson has become a window through which we can view the shifting parameters within which perceptions of black masculinity have operated over progressive decades. Both boxers can be seen in many ways to be the personification of the decades within which they rose to visibility and dominance"
