Images of desert, frozen landscapes and water, fluid and unformed inhabit a geometric shape.

A canvas is stretched over a circular pool to form a surrounding square. The pool is full of water, some of which soaks above the canvas. The projection comes from directly above to avoid shadows as the magic of this piece is in the fact that the viewer can come very close from any direction without casting a shadow. After placing the camera in one position I press the trigger. Standing back as the surfaces of language fuse beyond me. I have a strong feeling of disappearance... Through geometry, the measure of the earth, the formless becomes the focal point, a place of gathering and convergence.
