Moonshine

2 screen projection, also shown as a 6 screen installation at the Arnolfini in 1976.

This is the first in a series of films, each one recording the passing of the full moon. The skyline is a carefully considered aspect in this series. This particular version was filmed at the rate of one frame every ten seconds, instead of the normal shooting speed (24fps). Each frame is a six second time-exposure, this being sufficient to compensate for the very low light level. (WR)
