An image from a film can be in my head for weeks, like a song you can't get out your head.

Films are not just seen; they are lived; with you all the time.

They might be deep inside thoughts, covered over, and it seems there is no image or sequence present, but then, something happens, and the film show, once again, runs in my mind.

On an afternoon in April, in a garden, notebook in hand, I thought on films and artists featured by LUX. There was not always an image, or words, to carry the dialogue forward.
