It's Inside

It's Inside, takes the representation and experience of disease as its central theme.

The involvement in this project is one, which follows on in a conceptual tradition of art practice, where personal histories are not divided from the wider realm of social and aesthetic ideas, as 'the practice of everyday life', and the performative nature of our social relationships.

A multi-media installation comprising of projection, etched slates, cast medical instruments, a series of watercolours, cherries set in jelly, and the caganer (Catalan shitting figures).

Commissioned by the Wellcome trust, Science on Screen and Stage, shown at the cafe gallery (also a book Its Inside, Marion Boyars Publications 2005)
